Are You In Style

Here are a few Fall trends to add to your wardrobe:

Giving me the blues: Blue is a stand-out hue this season. From blue jeans to blue bags this pop color is sure to cheer up your wardrobe.

What do you pre-fur? For the cold and the beautiful this season's fur assembles are sure to warm you up from head to toe. Fur is being spotted on hats, coats, boots, and handbags this winter.

All that glitters is not just gold: Add a little shimmer to your festivities this year. Glitter and sequin in any form and in various colors are fashion must haves if you want to make a bold statement at your holiday engagements. Just remember to do everything in moderation.

Just in Lace: Lace is an ultra feminine fabric that has proven to be a stay-around item in the fashion arena. This season we don't just love it, we are layering it! Layered lace pieces paired with prints is a great way to liven up your delicate lace articles.

Remember when it comes to styling, have fun and make a statement!!!

Love,

Fear of the Oversized

Fear of the OVER SIZED!!

So I know you have heard the statement size doesn't matter. Well we are here to tell you that in some cases it does. The majority of the handbags we carry are considered over sized. Our smallest bags are clutches which are usually used for evening events. This way of fashion living always brings up the topic of "when is a handbag too big" and from the owners of Baggage; our answer is "NEVER". We often come in contact with consumers who remark about being overwhelmed with the hugeness of our handbags, yet their small handbag is filled to capacity and tearing at the seams. So, after careful thought, it all boils down to ORGANIZATION. Being organized in your handbag is important: placing larger items in the main compartment and the smaller, more frequently used items in all those handy pockets and zipper compartments. Now at first it might seem like work, but after a little patience and practice, it becomes routine, a routine that will save time and ultimately preserve the beauty of your handbag. One of the owners of Baggage, Elizabeth, probably has one of the most organized handbags any girl has ever seen and it's because she hates digging and most importantly doesn't want to ruin her handbag by over stuffing. If you still feel married to your smaller sized handbag, this philosophy still applies. Try to avoid being a hoarder of receipts, change at the bottom of the bag, and empty gum wrappers. I hope you will give this philosophy some consideration and remove the fear of the OVER SIZED!!

Sincerely,

Baggage
